So you may have noticed that it’s not the 19th of February today. I had to take a short rest from the challenge – I’d been painting through a bad cold for a week but things were getting a bit difficult with colds, half term, inset days and school meetings. So Monday I cut myself some slack and then was back to my day job for 2 days solid, including one very long day and awards night. So here we are on Thursday 22nd with day 19. I still hope to complete 30 paintings but it might just take me 33 days. I’m not beating myself up about that though.

To read more about this 30 in 30 painting challenge, do read my first post here. Here’s another seed packet from my collection.

This flower is for one of those balmy summer nights, when you stroll through the garden breathing in the  glorious scents… of honeysuckle, jasmine… and nicotiana. Unfortunately this plant is a wee bit poisonous, so if you do decide to grow it, read up before hand, but it smells great!
